Holy Awkward

Most teenagers have an insatiable desire to be popular, liked, and normal. I was no exception. I use to think my social awkwardness was something to conquer. I assumed my awkwardness was due to some deficiency.

Even now, with friends who are wonderful and exceptional, I still feel awkward. I no longer fear my awkwardness. I realize it is God’s desire to set me apart. He wants me to be awkward around everyone else; He wants me to be rested and comfortable around Him alone. He has made me holy awkward.
