People who are dear to us, frustrate us. We hope that conflict is resolved quickly and smoothly. However, God is the author of conflict. This is evidenced in Old Testament battles and the apostle Paul’s confrontation with Peter (Galatians 2:1-14). Once conflict arrives, God has the opportunity to create future restoration and glory.
Christians love extravagantly and Christians bicker. New believers don’t understand the Bible in totality; they may be tempted to judge our divisions. Let us show them we are His disciples by our love, sometimes love is born after conflict.
