6AM Set, You are Missed

Some of my most powerful encounters with the Lord happened while I was a part of the 6am IHOPFW prayer set. God gave our small prayer group abundant grace to seek Him, inquire of Him, and behold Him.
I remember one day when Bridget, a regular attendee to these meetings, told us we had an open heaven and a direct connection to the throne. Instantly, God drenched our team in love. His presence was corporately felt and lingered. I have never felt acceptance like that before!
If you would have told me that the prayer set would end and I would be moving out of Fort Wayne, I would have hated you and cried myself to sleep.
However, eventually the grace to seek God ended. I couldn’t attend the meetings anymore. I didn’t have the strength or motivation. I felt the beauty slipping away.
Those times of prayer and worship are a deep treasure tucked away in my spirit. I don’t think God is finished, but it is true…you don’t know what you have until it is gone.
