Attractive Christian

Most Christian books about relationships state that a godly woman is attractive. These books encourage Christian men to seek out a female servant of Christ. This makes me uncomfortable.

I realize that the Bible encourages young men to find a good wife, a devoted follower of Christ. However, my relationship with Christ isn't a relationship perk. My love for Christ is sacred and holy. My devotion to God is just that, devotion to HIM alone. I don't want my attraction to Christ to attract another lesser lover.

He is my only true audience member.

I realize Christians are looking for Christians to marry. But, my personal preference would be a secret place. A sacred, holy place. Undefiled by man's gaze and faulty praise.
