So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” John 8:31-32 NASB
Jesus is feisty. He, like me, has a mood that is unpredictable. One moment He is fighting, the next minute He is forgiving. One moment he's teaching, the next moment He's resting.
Both God and man. He had compassion on the masses, but He couldn't handle sin. What a traumatic life He must have lived. (aware of everyone's frailty and His ultimate death on a cross.) Carrying that sin must have been hard for Him.
How did He do it? He had the Truth. He had the Spirit guiding Him toward the Father. He was able to commune with His disciples. It "set Him free" from failure because God's loving kindness last forever.
