I am a stubborn individual. However, I know someone more stubborn—God. He is a good type of stubborn.
When I ask Him about certain supernatural concepts before I am mature enough, He remains silent. No matter how often I annoyingly ask.
When I want to do something I shouldn't, He cuts off all resources until I am too exhausted to pursue it anymore.
When He wants me to do something I don't want to do, He makes it vastly more appealing.
God is more stubborn, more persuasive, and His perseverance outlasts mine. God's people may be stiff-necked, but so is He. What is His secret to this steal will? Unconditional love. It is easy to remain stubborn when you have a fiery, zealous love. God remains the same because He has a worthy, pure objective— to overcome our fickle love with His stubborn love.
