Fatherless

I despise the word "fatherless". There is truly no such thing. God is our father. He is the father of all, so I don't believe anyone is fatherless. Some may feel forsaken, but they are not. I have felt true torment in my life, but I never assumed that I was fatherless. God is not absent as some may claim. Our Father does not forsake His people. His throne is always accessible. We may desire to wallow in the pig pin, but grace and mercy are easy to access.
It becomes easy to feel forsaken because we have built idols in our worship songs and our messages. We love to wallow in our songs that speak about our pain and misery. We love our traditions and customs. We forget that a loving God is available. Just ask Him.
