Abortion Awake

One of Job’s faithful statements: “thou you slay me, I will trust in you.” I wonder if we can ascribe such a statement to the aborted baby. The baby who knows nothing about a world outside the womb. All the baby knows is the abortion. It feels fire. It feels dissection. Can the child know “trust?” Is trust innate? Can we know? We often wonder about the physical state of the child, and ignore the mental state of the child. This is where the real battle wages. Is the child conscious at conception? That is the true issue. Size doesn’t matter. Consciousness matters. Thou you slay me, I will trust you Lord.
