I assume that worship leaders often lose at poker because they have "tells". The church can simply observe the worship leaders' actions and decipher when the Spirit is hitting them. These guitarist and pianist become silent. They close their eyes and back away from the microphone. They bow their heads or raise their hands to the sky. As they sing, they add a "whoa" or a "yeah" shout.
Each worship leader has their own characteristic tell. I won't embarrass them by tattling on them. However, it delights my soul to watch God minister to the minister. I know how intimating worship leading can be. It can be difficult to remain composed. Often when worship leaders are awe struck by the presence of the Lord, they often show signs of retreating: closing the eyes, hushing of sounds, and kneeling.
