I assumed that, during sanctification, God would only use holy measures to refine me. However, it appears He can bring evil upon me. According to Jeremiah 18, God is fully prepared to trouble the female's soul. He is jealous enough to make her life a living hell.
Today, at First Assembly, I felt surrounded by the mercy and grace of the Lord. However, I also felt surrounded by the judgement and fire of God. It is a difficult conundrum to describe. You feel real, terrifying fear. At the same time, you feel the constant hope of salvation and an ache to show compassion.
