Assurance of Salvation

There are two camps, which fight each other (in the body of Christ). Those who think salvation is secure at the new birth and those who believe they can lose their salvation. I am in the first camp. I strongly believe that God saves His children by the blood of Christ (literally). No one has access to that blood, but the Savior.

I know many shepherds (in the second camp) who try to rebuke me or send me on the right path...as if I wasn't already on it! I received Christ when I was five. I don't need to prove anything to Him, but I continually feel the need to prove myself to the second camp. This insecurity makes me avoid those Christians. The divisions and bitterness (even in my own heart) cause me to doubt my own salvation. That is unacceptable in my Beloved's eyes. He loves me with an everlasting love. It is pure and sure.

Remember the Titans: watch it and buy it!
