Holiness

I am rejoicing within myself because I have been awakened to the true meaning of holiness. When I was younger in the faith, I incorrectly believed holiness to be moral purity and righteousness. Holiness is being set apart and called to a unique place in God’s kingdom. Now holiness will require moral purity and righteousness, but it is the Lord who makes us beautiful.

The church may be full of hypocrites and sinners, but His people are still sealed with the signet ring of Jesus. They are His bride, His children, and His delight. They are holy because they have been called out, and their light with shine. God loved us first, and this makes us holy.
