Crush

I don’t think men realize the agony Christian women struggle through when it comes to relationships. Most Christian female singles want the men to initiate the relationship. They want the men to reveal their attractions and affections first. This means women spend weeks, months, and years with hidden desires and crushes.
They talk to their girlfriends about their amounting attractions for that special guy, but then beg their hearers to keep these affections hidden.

We are forced to trust in God’s sovereignty. We must remind ourselves that, if God desires a relationship to blossom, He is fully capable of making it happen. This doesn’t mean waiting is any easier. We still struggle with uncertainty and often feel completely out of control.

I have had many conversations with my Christian female singles. This question is always addressed…

“Should I tell him I like him? Should I reveal my feelings?”

Although, I know how tempting it may be to tell your crush about your feelings, I still believe you should NOT tell him. Let him pursue you. The waiting may feel like torture, but the reality is: you will be more fulfilled when he makes the first move. We must learn to trust God in the waiting.
