Polotics

I am not a political person. I think most of our governmental process is corrupt and extremely annoying. I try to stay as uninvolved as possible. I like to watch the news, so it is all together impossible not to hear about the election race. I always have opinions on the candidates, but rarely share them. I don't think my opinions are too well informed so they don't usually hold water. Like I said I am not a political person. But, I have to say that I truthfully don't like any of the candidates this go round. They seem like people pleasers and fake. I just have this eerie feeling that whoever the candidates is we won't have a positive four years.

Um yeah... seriously... I don't even want to vote. From what I've heard, the two democrats are abortionist/homosexualists... and the only republican candidate is wishy-washy on moral issues. Bleh. I don't even want to vote.

I am much more involved in politics than ever before in my life. I am not overly positive about what is being presented to us at this given time, but I am still quite fascinated with it all. I've never prayed so much for our government and country as I do now. It helps that I have some friends here who are really, really into politics and actually know the issues and can enlighten on things I once didn't understand or, more likely, just didn't care about. I think it's okay to not have an opinion and stay out of it all, but I'm more convinced than ever that it is my duty as an American...and a Christian...to know what's going on and to vote. Even more though, it is my duty to PRAY like a maniac!!!!!!!!
